Server crashes today - 13/12/2010

Our server, together with a lot of other BO servers has been randomly crashing often today. Gameservers has not said anything about the crashes so i suspect they are busy working behind the scene to fix issues before making any word to the public.

Is not only today uncle Z, the situation is "crashy" for about a week or so, and it happed every 30 minutes or so....I was not able to play on UO server more then 1 hour! Seriously!

Just finish a test: UO server can not support more then 5 minutes of gameplay! I tried this three times now!
Map: nuketown, demolition.
Time played (except the warm up time): 23:00 to 23:04....23:10 to 23:13 (this was funny, I wait 6 minutes for the required number of players so the game can start, then we play 3 THREE minutes, then crash)....23:30 to 23:35.

The crashes day before was nothing compared to last night, and here's a response from Gameserver about the issue:

"There was an issue with Treyarch's master servers over the weekend that was causing more crashes then usual. We have forwarded the debugging information over to them, and they should be able to prevent these crashes in the future."

Again they are pushing the blame to Treyarch....and again we have no resolution date...

Why don't we all move to TF2 instead!

Server seems stable again. It seems it's the GameTracker query scans that's causing the crashes. Gameserver has reduced Gametracker to limited scanning and this has stopped the crashes. Do not trust GameTracker's stats now.

A lot of server issues seems to be dependent on whether u got hosted on a good server. There are servers which has relatively less crash than others.

I think last night's server crashes might be due to the patch being applied to the server. They needed to restart the server after applying the patch:
