BO or MOH?

So BO has dedicated server but with a catch. I've already sent in request for hosting it in Singapore and waiting for their reply. Here's the news. The price for the server is actually not bad. Comparing to Fragnetics. It's def worth looking at.

MOH will DEF have dedicated servers but most prob we have to host it with Frags. I wonder what is the price like. We'll see how it goes yeah?

MOH beta already out right?
retail only out in oct but i heard some are already playing via steam d/l.

and i heard them saying so far not that ideal...anyone?

One thing for sure i'm buying both. Hopefully the final MOH will be decent as we can get to hold our own server. But if BO's server comes to SG, that will be awesome!

I say we try BO first, then see how. Reason being I was in the MOH beta and it feels a tad bit too much like BC. Maybe because of the frostbite engine, but I see BO as the better choice atm.

If GameServers have exclusive rights to hosting dedicated servers for BO, then we will still end up with the usual problem of lag faced by members who does not have a good gaming rig. The closest locations of their servers for us are based from:

JP (Asia) Tokyo, Japan
AU (AU) Adelaide, Australia
AU (AU) Sydney, Australia

I am gamed to pre-ordering a BO server though, perhaps we can do a vote which asian location you guys would prefer.

I am also not keen on MOH as it looks tooooo similar to BC2.

If you are talking about BO then i don't think frags has a chance. GameServers has already been appointed to have the exclusive rights to host the game.

I did. single player is awesome, but cant say the same for multiplayer. too little variation, limited weapons.. good thing is i bought it down under, so i got the beta to BF3 lol.

Yeah but dont even know whether BF3 will be worth it. Anyway, its great to see everyone here.. I usually pop by the frags forums but didnt see any activity until i realised everyone moved here lol.

I play MOH MP oso, nick kuTch, but i seldom go frag server to play, taiwan EA usually

I would play online more often if it wasnt for the fact i keep getting boot by PB cos my asus N43J is running the Nvidia optimus thing. Some "multiple 3D loaded Error" zzzzz.

MOH new patch + map pack is out. One of the map pack is free and the other is payable. This is a record time to roll out a payable DLC, just less than a month from when the game was launched. EA must be trying to rip whatever money they can from gamers before Black Ops launches.
