Back to topic, i think we have to consider what kind of gameplay we really like before going into it. I definitely didnt like BFBC 2 compared to CoDMW. I prefer full infantry style game play.

Okies, those who wants to support Black Ops, we may have to pay whenever we play online. This article says so. They are blaming the dip in sales of games because of multi player and high re-playability.

lol this is only a prediction from an analysis and that analyst is michael pachter, who pretty much everybody sees as a fucking joke. He's been right a few times, but even more times completely wrong. Unless activision wants to fish over whatever playerbase they still have, p2p for a fps will not happen. Main reason being, it's not an mmo, it won't have enough content to last p2p. If in some world that did happen, people would play for the first month, then realize there isn't much else to do and stop playing, and the first month of all mmo's are always free on purchase.

Why would a fps game want to compete with actual mmos who actually merit a subscription? In other words, why the fish would I want to pay to play an fps. The very thought is absurd to fps gamers, the companies know this, and is exactly why I don't see p2p fps ever happening.

In any case, unless it's official news, there's no reason to believe anything at all, especially coming from a that tool pachter.

True that but you will never know what will happen, especially a game like CoD have dedicated servers for so long and suddenly they are done with it. I dont trust these people anymore and until that game comes out, all are just rumors to me.
